Hi, just to introduce myself. I live in York with a 3 year old black lab who loves all the usual things walking, swimming, food and rolling in smelly stuff!!
 
Hi jmf, enjoy your lab, heads up on labs but you prob now , watch there eating, you no that’s, anytime they can eat, lick , scrounge, most important nowadays is weight, why do labs put weight on??? Lack of exercise and over kindness, dogs can’t feed them selves in a normal house can they?, enjoy and stay safe .

Haha thanks. Yes I know they are very food orientated however so far mine has kept her slim athletic shape - so we don't have any issues with weight
 
Hi and welcome, any pics? Love lab faces! Had a lab/collie in my life years ago who was very, very special to me and also walked a lab/spaniel called Louie, aka Lucifer! Absolutely adored him, walked him for 7 years with a plastic bottle in his mouth so he didn't go for every dog, jogger, bicycle etc that came in his space...special boy..:D
