I'm looking after a bedlingtion x whippet for some elderly friends for a week and i thought i'd get a few photo's of him for them. Saffi is 71/2 months old and is a real gem in the house.

It's been a pleasure to look after him for the week. Yesterday he came along with me on the shoot i had a delivery of partridge and had to put 400 in the pens. He never put a foot wrong..

Here he is

Very striking lad! Lovely :)

He is different from most other beddie/whippets I've seen

He's 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington, thats why he's got a smooth coat. He's only about 17" to the shoulder and i think thats about it, he won't get much bigger than that. Vixen has really enjoyed having him around on our walks, Ferns also enjoyed him being here as it means another fool bowl to lick clean!!!! typical labrador :D

he is stunning , very underestimated at times with their nose and abilities , they are excellent working companions!! as you know im a fan of beddy whips , the lad i bred last year is showing great promise so far , he is first cross though , scruffy smelly little git but perfection in my eyes :D

I tried every where to get a first cross about 15 years ago. I ended up with a terrier and then my purebred Whippets. He is a very nice looking boy, I love the tail! I could give it a nice trim...................... :p
