Nice to see some pics of Megan  and your cats are beautiful.

I met a little Bolognese dog called Albert the other day. I was browsing in my local antique shop (hoping to find nice whippet figure) and saw the shop owners little dog in his basket at the side of the counter. We got talking about him and Albert came over to see me. What a lovely little chap he was, very friendly and so cute, I fell in love with him, he was lovely.

Oh bless...she's lovely...and gets on so well with your cats. What a beautiful, showy family you have there.

Are Bologneses hard work to groom? What a fab coat!

Thanks for your kind comments everyone :))

Mazza, Alberts sounds cute. The boys are usually a good bit bigger than the girls I have heard. Though Megan is extra petite!!

Hi Nicola,

You have to groom her every day with a wide tooth comb or at least every 2nd day or she gets matted up. I have a spray called coat handler and it is really good at keeping the coat under a tangle free mode! It only takes 10mins. She gets a bath once a month as well and really enjoys get blasted dry with the hair dryer. In fact she queue's up for a shot under the hair dryer when the cats are having their baths ;) You are not meant to clip the Bolognese like the Bichons just let them have that out of control hair day look  I am a bit worried she will get awfuly hot in summer, so may contemplate having her slightly scissor trimmed in the summer, will see how she goes. She is not a show dog, just a much loved pet, so would be ok to trim the coat.
