Feeling alot better and wore a mask yesterday as we had people over ...

It's a year for tummy troubles - daughter-in-law had to lay off all dairy and soy for several weeks as GD2, who was breastfed, has what is assumed to be a milk protein allergy. Finally, she managed to get her off the breast and on prescription formula, but when they had a cheese & wine do in Xmas Eve, it turned out that she now also can't cope with dairy... They're coming over today, but I'm guessing she spent most of yesterday sitting on the loo!

Mr R gave me a blown-up photo of my avatar pic, mounted and in a frame. I absolutely love it, and am quite surprised I haven't shed a tear looking at it

@Tinytom what is that skin your sleigh of Santas are standing on? It looks huge!(or am I having a Father Dougal(from Father Ted) moment??) (sleigh is a collective word for a group of Santas, I just googled it!)

Haha ...its a rare breed cattle its around 6ft X 8ft ...x

When I was looking for a cow hide I wanted one from ethical stock ...free range cattle ...
I found a supplier through a country fair where a man was selling these enormous different coloured hides ...they are kept as cattle should be free range organic....they are expensive but last forever are hard wearing ....
People laugh as we are vegetarians ....

I think that's a lovely way of doing things, Tinytom. Nothing wrong with using ethical by-products.
