I've a nearly 9 year old collie cross who's lost condition this summer and I think it's because the food he has is longer suitable. He's had Pero - chicken and rice, since he stopped having puppy food and has been great on it. He often gains a little weight in winter, and looses a little weight in summer as he's walked more, and I just adjust the quantity accordingly. But this summer he's lost more than usual, and also lost condition, so I've increased more than usual but all that's achieved is pooing more often! He's well, and his worming/flea control regime hasn't changed. My sister suggested that he may be ready for a 'senior' dog food, but Pero don't make one (as far as I can find out) so I'm at a loss what to try. Any suggestions?
