We had a brilliant weekend and the weather was great 8) we really enjoyed the company of our good friends from Ireland and meeting up with our English friends especially Di & Steve & Leia :D We did have a few hiccups, left the B&B on Sat morn nice and early but got delayed because we couldn't find the entrance into the lurchers and noone seem to know were it was, so the men were getting a bit hot under the collar but we finally got there..

Our friends Jim, Lynne & baby James did'nt get to the POTP because there van broke down on Sat night and they had to be towed to the ferry early on Sat morning :( so sorry Jim & Lynne.. and Bill to the rescue again

Well done to all the winners and everyone who competed

Hi Everyone

We would like to express our thanks to everyone that attended, which made this years Pride of the Peaks another great success! Great Photo's! Unfortunately our official photographer never turned up! so very kindly Mally stepped in to take a few of our final winners, many many thanks to him as we would of been truly stuck without him  Also we would like to show our appreciation to everyone who thanked us at the end of the day, a fellow from over the water (sorry not sure of the name) one of a group that travel over to support us every year, Pat Quant and a few others, its nice to hear when you've put in the hard work, especially as most of the dog team are on the HWS&S committee so were having to combine jobs throughout the day, phew! :sweating: Thanks to all that camped, who left the field free of litter and as they found it, (again very much appreciated) I will put up all winners as soon as i've sorted through them.

We had a couple of blips in the racing, a few comments that were less than constructive, so next year we hope to get a team in to run the racing events for us, if you know of anyone, or you run one yourself and would like to help please get in touch with me.

Thanks Again :))
