MIDLAND GAME FAIR.

SATURDAY 19TH SEPT LURCHER DAY. SIMO, STRIAGHT RACING UNDERS, OVERS, PUPPIES & WHIPPETS, BOOKING IN FROM 8.30AM START AS SOON AS FIRST CARD IS FULL. OPEN LURCHER SHOW TO START AT 10AM. FOLLOWED BY CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS AT 3PM.

Mark...What distance is this years track ? Rumour has it that its back to the old track ...almost 500yds ! Hopefully this is right and its not that excuse for a track that Paddy was given last year ?

Once upon a time,a fair few years ago,there used to be a great race track at the Midland,Deirdre.It was felt then,that the lurchers were as much an attraction as every other event that was displayed at the fair.Was really dissapointed,when Yvonne and I went last year :( Apart from being stuck away from the fair,the Game Fair organisers,could have made the effort to cut the grass for the lurchers. :wacko: Fingers crossed things are better this year :luck:
