Mike Browns Whippets

Thats a funny question to ask as no whippet can take a fox now as it's banned.

I have a bitch that mike bred and she has taken fox before the ban.

I do however doubt if all of the whippets bred by Mike brown take fox, alot will depend on how a dog is broken and trained to the quarry in question.

I can think of a more suitable breed that would be more suitable for the purpose of fox control but then you would need to move to a country that still allows it. :- "

a very strange question for a 1st post after joining,

no one on K9 would condone anyone who breaks the law and as fox hunting is now banned i'm sure theres nobody on here would take part in it.

i will consult my crystal ball and let you know later. :- "

will mikes browns whippets tackle fox

I've been told by a few on here that NO Whippet will tackle a Fox :) ...... :- " .....Anyway welcome to the all knowing k9

Well tell them there talking out there arse then Hannah. I have taken quite a few fox with Jess before the Ban and she handled them very well indeed. A dog will get used to taking any quarry if they get enough practice on that quarry.

Some people on here think there dog is a rabbiting dog if it catches one rabbit  . For a dog to be a good rabbiting dog it needs to mark occupied warrens, Hunt hedges and mark up where rabbits are and catch on a regular basis.

Jacob and Inca have had 3 Foxes befor the ban, but I got told they arn't capable of this :- " ...........They all love the hedging etc ......and Incas been known to leave the middle of a race to quarter the field
