MILLER
Miller is a 4 year old greyhound lad. He is quite a big boy and has a soft black coat that needs to gain some condition now that he's retired from the racing life.
Despite his size, Miller is quiet and laid back, tending to take things in his stride. He gets on good with other greyhounds, but has not yet seen much of the world outside of kennels. New owners will need to be aware of this when introducing him to new dog breeds as it is likely he has never seen non-greyhound shaped dogs before! He has been around children before and behaved very well with them. He is not cat friendly.
Miller is best pals with his friend Blackie, another 4 year old black boy. They have spent their entire lives together so ideally we would love to find them a home together as they would help each other adjust to the home life. They balance each other out beautifully - Miller being quiet and calm while Blackie is more outgoing and playful. We will rehome them separately if the right homes come along, however.
Miller is currently in kennels with Blackie in Norfolk, UK. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure. After 4 years of racing, both these boys really deserve their retirement sofas now.
~~ KERRY GREYHOUND CONNECTION ~~
Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 40 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.
Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.
We can be contacted via PM or through any of the following:
