As I am now feeding mostly raw meat to Alf and Annie I thought I would buy a meat mincer / grinder. I mostly buy chicken wings and cut them up with a very good pair of kitchen scissors at the moment but it is quite hard on my hands. Wondered if any one uses a mincer and would like to know if it is worth investing in one. Are they capable of grinding small bones too.

I have in the past fed minced meet that i have minced myself using the old type of cast mettle mincer that attatches to the work top or tabletop. I have managed to get the mincers from either carboots or local auctions for a few pence and the work greatand yes this type will cope well with small to medium bones and save on the hands.
