MISS BLUE PENNY

Miss Blue Penny is a female greyhound who is about 2 or 3 years old. She is a very pretty little lass with a gorgeous blue coat and intelligent eyes.

Little Miss Blue Penny is a real smasher of a dog and we dont think she'll be waiting long for her forever sofa. She is a newcomer to our kennels so we are still assessing her personality, but potential adopters are urged to enquire about her now as she's sure to be snapped up! So far she has been on her best behaviour in the kennels and hasn't caused an ounce of trouble. She gets on good with the other greyhounds and enjoys getting attention.

This gorgeous girlie has sadly spent all her life so far in kennels, and hasn't yet experienced home life. New owners will need to be patient during the first couple of weeks and allow her time to settle in. It shouldnt take too long, however, before she learns the home rules and discovers the joys of sofa roaching! She has not yet been tested with cats or small dogs, but these can be arranged prior to adoption if needed.

Miss Blue Penny is currently in kennels in Ireland, and can be transported via Kerry Greyhounds to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This will be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds, and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting this lovely girl, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our information pack and adoption questionnaire. Thanks!

**UPDATE 05/2010**

Little Blue Penny has now moved to a foster home in Ireland, where she is coming on in leaps and bounds. Her personality is really shining through now, and what a beautiful little star she is! She is quite small and petite for a greyhound, and loves getting cuddles as you can see in the photo! She has earned the new nickname 'Flippa' due to her love of getting flipped on to her back for hugs!

Blue Penny gets on fantastic with other dogs, and can also live with small ones. She is sharing her foster home with children and several other dogs including two terriers, and gets on brilliant with them all. She is also fast getting the hang of housetraining and loves to travel in the car. She is not cat friendly, however.

This gorgeous little girl has settled very quickly and easily in to the home environment, and is sure to be an absolute joy for whomever decides to adopt her. She is a real gem of a dog and we dont think she will be waiting long for her forever home!

If you are interested in fostering or adopting this lovely girl, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for our information pack and adoption questionnaire. Thanks!
