I did say I thought she was a diamonds and pearls kinda girl - but we can't afford them so cheap imitations of black pearls for a black girl will have to do.

Much, MUCH better now, thanks Dessie.dessie said::wub:  Lovely! Is Miss Midnight settling in a bit better now??
That is pretty natural behaviour for some Iggies. Shelley who I bred is very reserved with strangers and will run off and hide if she doesnt like someone but once she has met them a couple of times she greets them like long lost friends. Her Mother Hattie is the complete opposite and soooooo confident she is a little minxaslan said:Much, MUCH better now, thanks Dessie.dessie said::wub:  Lovely! I get greeted now every time I come to her in her crate or pen - she dances and has the waggy tail thing happening.
She is getting more comfortable around the yard but went slinking away from the camera when I got it out yesterday. (photo below)
At first when I let her loose in the yard she didn't leave my side and I had to do numerous laps to make sure she was getting some exercise, but now she ventures off and explores on her own. She even had a little spurt of playfulness this morning with a toy out there - so it's all coming good - I am SO relieved.
