Hi did anyone pick up a black fold-up chair by mistake at the Northern Open last week? (I think that we must have left it behind).

Mark/Scott has anyone mentioned one?

Thanks in advance

Darcia

Hi Darcia,

I think somebody must have picked it up by mistake. I didn't see anything left befind on the day and there was nothing there a couple of days ago. It was not put in the shed and nobody has mentioned anything to me.

Bet you can't wait to come back! :b

Sorry,

Scott.

umm I lost a lot of hair that day (not that I can afford to loose much more)

you dont miss what you dont have mark o:) perhaps you need to get a hat

I think i have your chair was just sorting out the camping stuff for the weekend and found a black chair in my green chair bag will get it up to the northern so someone can pass it back to you.

Has anyone seen a green folding chair that must have been left at the northen :(

wendy

Hi Wendy,

Many thanks! I know that they are not expensive - but it is a bit of a pain and abit annoying to lose it - I expect that I just left it there on the grass :b

My only excuse is that we were rather excited that we'd had such a good day :D (flew all the way home on the motorway even though it was a four hour journey!)

I only realised it was gone a week later when I went to pack the car for racing :- "

HOPE that some other kind person has picked up your chair by mistake and reads this!

THANKS AGAIN

Perhaps some nice person from the Northern could bring it down to the Champs ??? (Pretty please!)

i am sure someone will get it back to you. i was sorting the stuff out cos were off to the BWRA champs this weekend and spotted somthing black sticking out the chair bag it must have been the mad dash to pack away before the rain came we just piled everything up and through it in the van. its luky i spotted it or we wouldhave been very confused this weekend

Darcia your chair has been passed onto me.John and myself are coming down to Stanborough on Sunday 3rd October. If you aren't going to be there maybe I could give it to someone for you.

Hi Sue,

Many thanks for taking the chair for me (and many thanks to Fallen Angel for returning it!). We sadly can't make the open at Stanborough next Sunday, but hopefully Tony and Steph Cox or June & Steve Jonigk can collect it from you as we should see them both at club soon, I will get in touch with them and check that it would be Ok.

Thanks again for your help

Darcia

orry its took so long to get on its way but its the first time today we have been up to coppel since te open.

wendy

Thanks again Wendy, we really appreciate the effort that you have made to get it back to us :D

One of the great things about whippet racing is how helpful and friendly everyone is, when people are bitching and backstabbing it has to be the nice things that we remember.

On a number of occasions this year fellow racers have really gone out of there way to help us, as well as the usual help and advice, cups of tea and shoulders to cry on every week.

THANKS EVERYONE

(don't mean to sound funny, but it really is too easy to get dragged down by the negative side of things instead of focusing on the positive)

It will be great for Darcia to get her chair back  We did have a spare stool once (rip) :( it seems Darcia and seats don't get on too well... (w00t)

Cheers Nige, as if wasn't embarassing enough....... :b :b :b

Now to publish it on to the web in full view of everyone :- "

Thought that I would put this on: :x to remind you of the colour of a certain roll of vet wrap :p

We would be pleased to bring your chair home for you Darc - see you soon!

Is this some new kinky fetish thing at whippet race meets in England?

Chair swapping!! :D

It's a game, leave your chair at a meet and see how far it travels before it finds it way home!!!! (w00t)

I'd send a chair over, but you might not allow it to play! :D :D :D :D :D

The chair in question is due to write its memoirs soon. They will be published in time for christmas under the title of "The Black Chair guide to the UK".

It was hoping to write a duet called "Travels with a BBQ" with small silver foot stool, but sadly the foot stool no longer exists. RIP :(

(Thanks June :D )

and Tony, we are happy to let your chair join in the game with ours!

and poor Wendy's chair is still out there somewhere...... lost..... in the big wide world (w00t)
