Lost my sweet natured loving dog to cancer. It will be two weeks on Monday since shes been gone.
The house is very quiet.
No waggy tails and greetings at the door.
No walks in the pouring rain.
No waiting by the bowls for brekkie or dinner
No bowls!
No dog bed.
No licking the plates in the dishwasher ( which I'd gladly like now, not at the time)
No evening sat by the fire snug and warm.
No alerting me to someone at the door.
No hoovering dog hairs ( I wish I could)
No going out to "work" with my gardener husband.
We just lost a most loved and adored member of our family for sure......
Eve.
