I know this is not showing related but I know a few of the Aussie crew read the show results so hope this may get seen.

A couple in the Berwick area are missing their whippet bitch Tanna.

She escaped yesterday when their fence blew down in the high winds. Her whippet mate ran in through the dog door but she has taken off and is nowhere to be found. She is a "grey" particolour and is microchipped.

Her owners are obviously frantic and are contacting local vets and pounds.

If any Aussies who live in that area could please keep an eye out and if you see her could you please email me at louisedoubleday@aol.com.

Many thanks.

Thankfully, after spending yesterday afternoon and night out in the blustery wind and rain, this little girl has come right back to her front door, safe and sound and no worse for wear.

So all's well that ends well...

I'm glad the little girl is home safely and not too affected by her ordeal. :)

Clever little girl. Happy ending. I bet they're relieved.

Glad to here she's returned home safe and sound  A happy ending for both whippet and owners :D

Thanks goodness she is home. Things would not have been helped by the fact that many areas are still without power. I was without phone and internet connection for 2 days.
