IMG_2523.jpg

This is where we turned back - the tunnel

IMG_2530_edited-1.jpg

What's Jonah spotted down there?

IMG_2532.jpg

We prefer a good sniff ;)

IMG_2533.jpg

Here comes Stanley

IMG_2534.jpg

Can we go this way? :p

Nothing like a good rub in the grass :))

The old lime kilns (think this is a modern reinforcement)

Fred takes a drink.....

Stanley decides to get right in! (w00t) It wouldn't be one of our walks if I didn't get at least one photo of Stan IN the water

IMG_2555.jpg

Abseiling down the viaduct :sweating:

IMG_2557_edited-1.jpg

Muffin decides he's like to visit the lime kilns on the way back - here he is coming back out :p

IMG_2558_edited-1.jpg

And to finish a very pleasant, sunny walk....

An ice-cream! :D Can I have some please, says Jonah

IMG_1470.jpg

Of course, says Nicola! ;)

Lovely photos. Wood Anemonies in the first couple of shots. We don't have them in Cornwall!!! I miss seeing them, when I grew up in Cheshire the woods there were full of them.

(w00t) I see you've caught my best side in those last photos Gillian... :nuke:

I had to laugh at some of those photos...I like the commentary and Fred must wonder what I get up to sometimes with my camera. He looks very puzzled where I'm bending over photographing the white flowers. Stan and Muffin make me laugh too...they both want to lead the way and then look puzzled when we don't follow!

Fred looks as skinny as usual...it's always such a fine line between feeding him up and giving him the trots by overdoing it and then we're back to square one.

Have you tried giving him slippery elm Nicola? When I had an elderly collie who was prone to colitis I gave her slippery elm mixed up in milk or water (I forget, it was a very long time ago) before bed every night. I'm sure it helped, and it is very soothing and nourishing. Just a thought.

What happy boys! its fun to see the 'other side' of the Anemone Picture that Nicola put on her thread lol

Great pics as always!

I do have a tub of Dorwest slippery elm in the cupboard but only use it to help settle their stomachs once they have the trots (it's very good at that!). I hadn't thought about using it all the time....
