Hi All

Martin Tucker's comment has given me another idea - with the last question he wrote

"Best I saw was Trisha Billinghams RCh Silver Stream. Awesome and the ones the Besaps couldn`t beat !

Would love to see dogs once they have `proved` themselves the best in a weight group, move on up to the next group a bit like the boxers, now that would find you the best ! "

So here's the Question

Which Dog and Which Bitch have won Championship weight groups in the greatest number of different weights limits?

Clue - they both won 3 different weight groups at the Champs. - More sleepless Nights?

:sweating:

Would it be Nigel Benn and His Sister.......Ooops!! Sorry that is boxing

Give me a clue Rob ! Any from my era 1974-1980 ? Don`t know did Tipper win a 30lb Group ? Unbeatable in the 28lb Group ! Also Teddy Flash may have have won in 2 Groups ?

Did Fine and Dandy win 3 different weight Group Finals ?

Dave said straight away WCRCh Peanut owner by Harry & Murial Fields.

She was so called because she was born with a hole on her head

If this is right it was because there was odd groups run at one championship, was there not Bob.

1973 4th Ch 21lb group

1974 1st Ch 22lb group

1975 4th Ch 2Olb group

How's That

Hi Martin

Both from your era - but you missed out to Dave Brown.

Where are you Bob is Dave correct

Sorry for not getting back on this - Yes Dave was Spot on

we have been in Kent all week - Aunt's Funeral, etc. - with no laptop

but passing through Suffolk at the mo.

I'll have to have a think about my next question - they are getting too easy

may be in Kent next week again - so in between other things I'll have a think about Whippets instead of Aunt's belongings and house

How about some thing based on the racing name Spot On

think about it - I'll be back!

He also said we raced Spot On in the 16lb group with our Leapaway think her home Club was East Sussex but the owner started The South Of England Club with Wayne Birch .

1974 7th April Abbotts Ann 150 yards, 28lbs 1st

28th July Abbotts Ann 240 yards, 26lbs 1st

Correct - but interestingly enough I can't find any Championship wins for Jim & Maureen's Spot on

Also a Spot on that became a half coat in 1977. Padney Hill Sam Browne x Sagewood Autumn Mist.
Also correct - that was the twist in the name used twice

KC reg name Spot-on-Top - Racing name Spot On

Born 4th March 1975. Colour White & Brindle
