Now back from Crufts and the enjoyment of a verdant England with daffdils in bloom and above freezing temperatures, I have returned to Canada and, in my community, an extra 75 cms of snow that fell in just the week I was away. It has been the second most snowy winter ever -- and it looks like we will break the all time record of 444.5 cms (over 14 feet for those of you into those measurements) before winter is over.

This has given me lots of time to contemplate other things, including the progress of our litter of pups out of Eng.Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Ceefa Ceely (Eng.Aust.NZ Ch. Nevedith Rare Rogue x Eng.Ch. Nevedith Justa Jenie). The sire is Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Edradour (Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Local Lancer x Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Barbados, who carries our outcross line).

I have put together panorama shots featuring two boys in each. Here is the first one showing the boys at 6 weeks.

Here are the other two boys.  The boy on the right in photo one is going to serve as foundation dog for a Canadian breeder with a long history in Shelties who has now seen the wisdom of the short coated breeds (as I did growing up with collies!).

Lovely pups but I do think pup no. 4's owner- to- be is a lucky person, what a lovely start with that lad.

 Oops on my part! Combining the photos mixed me up. The dog with the mostly red fawn head and white body is not the one going to home I mentioned... she chose the dog with the fawn circles on his side. The mostly white dog is one of the dogs we are running on as a a show home prospect for one of several interested persons.
