Very impressed with some of the paintings/portraits that have been shown on here recently, thought I'd share this one with you. It's my Murray, (Alonza Conspiracy Theory for Dewerstone) sketched in pencil. I'm afraid the artist is a secret........

That's really lovely Louise.

The portrait that I had done of Holly recently has inspired me to pick up my pencils again - if I produce anything decent I will show you all :b

Pencil as well as pen & Ink are as hard if not harder to do than color -

color draws the eye to itself - the same as in black & white photo's -

the composition and subject matter is all there is - no distractions -

I rather like the pencil - quite distinctive and attractive though fragil to

keep over the long haul -

quite nice

That's a lovely picture Louise, I think ears must be so difficult with their little folds and you (sorry Annie Nonimus) have got them spot on. I wish I could draw so well.
