My 8-year-old cockerpoo is drinking more than usual. She has one meal at 6 pm which is a dry food called Europa supplied by Cheshire Pets supplies in Altrincham. The food is Grain-Free and Duck with Sweet Potato and orange. She is medium size at 18/19" and her weight is 13.7 kg. Her portion size is approx 210/220 gms.

I also introduce a few bits of turkey with the dry food to make her dinner a bit more interesting.

Do you consider the dry food might be causing her thirst? Also, she is on medication of PREDNISOLONE tablets to help her ear infection which she has been on for a few months.

I am grateful for any feedback and comments.

Has her diet changed recently, and did the increased drinking coincide with that? Really, though, it's impossible to judge from your post whether her drinking is excessive or not, so I suggest you discuss it with your vet - they might want to rule out any underlying illness.
