Hello everyone  Can I begin by thanking all of you that have expressed good wishes for my HENRIETTA. She did not realise how many friends she had, nor did I. OK. We saw the vet earlier. Her lump. The intention was to remove it. Upon investigation however it appeared a more complex procedure than had been envisaged. A biopsy was taken, the results of which will follow. X rays of her chest and endoscopy were carried out and some of the contents were removed for further analysis. No tumours or other nasties were discovered but clearly there is something going on in there that hopefully will be revealed via the lab. Henrietta is well in herself and ate chicken once back at home. Results etc. will start to arrive by the end of this week, so I am told. I am worried but then I would be. Once again thanks to you all and I will reveal more when I can. Thanks Chris.

I'm so pleased to hear that Henrietta is home and feeling quite perky

Please let us know as the results come through, Chris :luck: and give her a gentle hug from me x

So glad to hear she is home. Waiting will be frustrating but the absence of a mass of any kind on the xrays is definitely a plus.

Hope she has a restful evening and has you pampering to her every whim!

Like Jane says, please let us know... :luck:

Good luck Henrietta, hope all goes well :luck: :luck:

Update on Henrietta. Heard from the vet today. The biopsy on the swelling inside her hind leg has revealed only muscle. Therefore no need for worry nor any intervention for the forseeable time. The sputem exams have revealed that an allergy is responsible and that will be investigated to find out just what is causing it. Her cough is being controlled with steroids. Overall the news is good. Thanks to you all for caring. Best wishes Chris

Glad to hear your good news .

Hope Henrietta keeps well for a long time yet :luck:

Ah, that's a huge relief!!! :D

Just a matter of sorting out what is causing the allergic reaction  ......... does she get the problem when you've just washed/cleaned something in the house or your clothes etc? Could be the cleaning products? So many differentials! It will be difficult to find out but I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of it  :luck:

Thats great news Chris she had us worried there for a while, hope the steroids kick in quickly and she's better in no time xxxx

Henrietta's feeling pretty good today, so much so that she thought she would dress up a bit.
