We in the USA have recently gained access to a reasonably priced test ($58 US each for up to 4 submissions; $48 US each for 5+ submissions) that will let you know if your dog is a carrier or is "clear" of the so-called bully gene. Knowing your dog's status is a huge advantage and could ultimately mean an end to producing bullies. The web site is: www.vetdnacenter.com, and you can request a test kit from there. I'm pretty sure they accept international orders. I sent my dogs' swabs in providing only call names and breed; the lab was quick (you get the results via e-mail first, mail later) and they were fine with the lack of info I sent. This test could revolutionize the breeding of racing Whippets...
