Well today saw the launch of the Northern pedigree whippet lure coursing club (N.P.W.L.C.C.) in conjunction with the Northern P.W.R.C. & i think everyone who's dogs took part will agree it was a great success! 8)

The weather was not on our side, but that didn't stop us all having a really enjoyable day with loads of laughs & not to many hitches. :sweating:

The course was made up of 5 turns over appx 400yds.

Dogs taking part were experience lure coursers aswell as some new dogs to the sport, but all of them had a great time with some really good courses.

Laugh of the day must be the lure going full speed due to the button sticking & Gaz trying to stop it :lol: :lol: :lol:

as secretary of the new club i would like to thank everyone for their help today and if we can run it on a day like today a good day will be a breeze (w00t) .i was glad everyone enjoyed the day .all the dogs were stars with some excellent courses they were all winners today.garys stan laurel when the lure stuck was a gem (w00t) .with 26 dogs on the books i think we should have a 16 stake everytime.with 5 withdrawals today the 3 reserves stood in one of wich was millie the main stake winner .just shows you what great teamwork can do :cheers:
