Hey Everyone

I was thinking of trying to organise a national sponsored K9 dog walk. Seeing as we all live in different parts of the country I was thinking what we could do is have different walks on the same day if you get my meaning. For example

Those who live in Scotland can meet up at one place and do the walk

Those in England could meet in different places that are appropriate.

All proceeds for this walk will go to greyhound gap.

Let me know what you think? (w00t)

Pretty sure someone's already said something along the same lines, possibly a pole is the best idea for where the money goes!

Great idea Lynn, im sure that GG would be greatful for any money. Specially as at the moment they are trying to rise £3258.84 Just for vets fees.

Count me in, just pick a sunny day please. Only just dried out from todays walk.

great idea  we can do one of Bristol ones - just name the day.

I would love to join in but I can't walk very far :( ,,,we could have a little stroll up here (Scotland) around the Scottish Derby time :) and John or the kids could help me out  .

Any further thoughts on this?

I think my OH is running in the Nottingham marathon in September and he will be raising funds for greyhounds (anyone want to join him?). - Probably Whitelodge where we had our boys from.

maybe each county could have a walk? would make it easier to meet etc? just an idea

Thats a good idea Tanya...we could organise it for late spring when the weather gets a bit better.

I think it would give us all a good chance to meet and make new friends and put faces to names etc, maybe do some prizes for county with most money raised etc? would be nice to all meet up everyso often socially with our dogs and families
