my dad has asked me to find out where the closest track is to us ,, we live in new mills ,, near stockport.

he founded new mills whippet racing club ,, must have been around the early 70's.

but it all stopped when we moved to scotland ,, any information would be greatly appreciated or if any one is local and remembers the good old days of racing whippets in new mills please add your reply ,, thank you

We're half an hour away from Stockport and race both ped & non peds each Wednesday from 7pm see A & T Miners WRC for more info, or there's Northern which is at Coppull, Chorley.

Pretty sure my grandad used to race at New Mills
