Nelly, 16 week old female large cross breed puppy – Stroud, Gloucs.

Lovely Nelly & her brother Luka were the result of another unplanned litter of puppies. We have helped with the rehoming of puppies from this same before, the difference being that this time owner has agreed to have the bitch spayed before the puppies were taken into rescue. Two of the siblings have been rehomed and Luka & Nelly are the last two. What breed are they? Well we think Labrador mixed with Bearded Collie/Lurcher as they look like they will be scruffy, but we cannot be 100% certain. We feel that Nelly will be quite large - probably bigger than a Labrador although she is the smallest of the litter.

Video of babies... I just love her: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10204553841799274&set=o.461237387234298&type=2&theater

Nelly is a lovely friendly well socialized puppy and she is good with other dogs. She is described as laid back and pretty placid for a puppy like her brother, but she is probably the quieter one. Like her siblings, she is an intelligent and bright pup. She has lived in a quiet/rural area so will need time to adjust. She has also not lived indoors so will need help with house training too, but she is only a baby and with such a bright nature she will pick things up quickly.

Being the mix and size that she is we want to find Nelly a home that will take her to dog training classes. A home that will have the time to train her and bring out her full potential as a well socialised & well behaved dog. Please do not apply if you are a full time worker or cannot commit to giving Nelly training, time and input.

Nelly is micro chipped and fully vaccinated. As she is too young to be spayed it will be a condition of adoption that she is spayed when she is old enough.

If you are interested in offering Nelly a home for life please email for our questionnaire in the first instance to: starfishdogrescue@hotmail.co.uk

Please note that any potential home will be subject to home check.
