In Essex although schools for dogs some are to scared to go into a big room with barking dogs and hypo dogs, it would be nice if I could find somewhere where you can take your dog and meet others in same position ie nervouse dogs not unsosiable maybe abused dogs they meet up one to one to rebuild their confidence.

Alas I'm not near you but we had to pull our dog from classes and they have left us with a dog who is really unsure of other dogs - it was dogs constantly trying to mount him that caused most of the issues, in an advanced class where they are meant to be off leash. We ended up switching to private. We now tend to avoid indoor and busy places as he just wants to play ball. Might be worth asking local dog trainers, you never know.
