Few weeks back i posted about a young Lurcher called Zippy who my parents fostered, well sadly things didn't work out so she is back here with me for good as she is a cracker. Basically they found her too lively and hard work, which they knew when they took her on but thought things would be ok. They fell in love with her though and found it hard telling me, but i could tell anyway and was anxious to get her back and find her a home (for my parents sake). They adopted my Gemma as a temporary measure as i really did not want 5 dogs at all, but have ended up adopting Gemma and me adopting Dizzy (as they re named her)!!!!!!!!!

Gemma is a different dog at my parents, she has never thrived with me as my house has always been lively and noisy and she hated all Harry's friends when they came causing bedlam!  She spent most of her days upstairs keeping out of the way anyway but at my mum's she is the centre of attention (well apart from their cat!) and has become a much more settled and relaxed girl, wish i'd done it months ago as they mentioned having her when their old dog passed away. She goes for nice strolls now instead of the mammoth trecks i go on that she mainly struggled with, bless her. They love her so much and can't stop telling me how good and well behaved she is    Best of all i get to see her several times a week too...

So here's a pic of my old family.....

Dizzy is fantastic natured, excellent off the lead, very playful and obedient, all the other dogs have accepted her no problem at all, she is particular friends with Gucci, probably as there is only 3 weeks between their ages. :huggles: :huggles:

Lots of mad half hours

Wearing her out with lots of long walkies :sweating:

Only problem she has is she wets in the house when left and at first even if i went out for one minute to the car and the back door was open, but that is getting better all the time and she hasn't had an accident for several days :) she seems much more settled in her routine (i'm so glad as i was only used to Gucci sized wees from when she was younger, but Lurcher wees are HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

So glad things seem to be working out for the best for dogs and humans alike. Dizzy is such a beauty!
