Hi all.

Just a little announcement on behalf of the mid west region. As of last night our region was added to by worcester wrc. Our region was delighted for them to join us, and the addition was decided by majority vote. Another change is that Mick Hinson has taken over the post of Mid West chairman from Tony Cooper. We would just like to thank Tony for the sterling job he has done in the past and wish Mick the best of luck.

Good luck to our Regions Clubs in the upcoming racing season, if you have any news or anything you would like to add to this topic for my whippet news report dont hesitate to contact me.

To all Mid West Region members

Thanks for letting Worcester club join the Mid West Region

As a club Worcester is still racing on a Sunday morning pre entry to Amanda by 6.30pm Friday nites

We are sorry to lose Mid West Region but due to a lack of support Im afraid we can no longer keep going,because of this region closing we can not longer have the top ten points open for the Rossmoor/Dennis O'Neill on Saturday 5th August 06 with the Worcester Top Ten on the Sunday so instead we will be holding an additional open on the Saturday with added prize money which is left over from the region closing which should be about £500.

The region will also not be able to hold the Top Ten Bend open in November

A very sad state of affairs but in joining the Mid West perhaps we can help strengthen them and maybe that club team may come about!

Your support in the coming year will be much appreciated, Fordingbridge are hoping to make a weekend of the 2 day events to be held at our club in july if enough support can be drummed up to cover our costs. If enough interest is shown a disco will be held on the saturday night and refreshments will be available.

So hopefully we can have 2 great weekend events for our region this year and putting our region firmly on the map.
