BIF Dual Champion Wildhare Distant Thunder SC ! ! ! !

Today we took Thundeer coursing - he was needing just 4 singles to finish

his AKC Field Championship - we had to enter his mother "fat lady Delta"

to squeeze 2 points for whippets - today Thunder was in good running frame

of mind and did he ever - Won the open Stake - then won BOB over a good

running Special - then of the 4 running for BIF was the hi score for his first

BIF and that gave him 5 points to finish - there was a 4 point spread for the

4 running (Grey, Saluki, Ridgeback, & Whippet) and Thunder did it with a spactacular run - temps were in the mid

80's and very humid with very little breeze - he really got serious and let it

all hang out on the 200 yard streight - it was something else to watch -

and to top off the day Thunders littermate (our little Flame) took the point

WB and BOS in the confirmation ring - for a really good day out -

just had to brag on our plain ol' brown dawg <G>

We were just absolutely thrilled that Thunder was able to complete his field championship

so quickly - its a lot different in the show ring where the handler has a lot to do

with the outcome by handling the presentation of the hound - Coursing you just

take the dog to the line and when signalled - let 'em go - the dog does all the work

and has a lot of fun in the process - I have a lot of fun just watching them run -
