Hi

My name is Paula and I've just recently joined after speaking to Joyce Thoburn of thebwra North East. My husband Steve and I would love to love a young whippet - either puppy or young dog (rescue or not) but we are having trouble finding one!

We live in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear and very sadly lost our dog, Sammy, to liver failure at 14 years old, 18 months ago. He is such a huge loss and only now do we feel ready to love another.

In anticipation of Mr Whippet, we have just had a 6ft fence erected round our 120ft garden - all we need now is little Mr Whippet to enjoy it.

I would really appreciate any advice on where we go from here on how to make our dream come true. We are not looking to breed or race so does not have to be pedigree.

Thank you

Paula
