Hi Nigel,

Just wondering if there is a problem with the message box. My messages seem to have all dissapeared the other day and even though it says this............

You have 6 messages out of 50 maximum storable messages

In the message space it say you have no messages. :unsure:

I'm not aware of any problems.

The 6 messages you have may be in you sent items folder (or somewhere other than you inbox). Click on the 'Jump to folder' drop down box to look at your other folders.

Nope can only find one in sent messages box......... no other trace of the others :b

OK, I've had a quick look at this and I think it may just be a bug in the software.

I think you may have (or had) some PM messages from someone who wasn't a full member and they did not validate their account - un-validated accounts are purged after 5 days so that account has now been deleted. That's left some orphaned messages which is probably the 5 extra you see.

I wouln't worry about it too much unless there are other problems. The new software which I'm still hoping to install shortly may address the problem. I could manually delete the messgages but I'm reluctant to do that in case that causes further problems.
