AS IT WAS THE FIRST CHAMPS THE NEW FED HAS RUN WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS ON HOW THE RACING WENT DO YOU THINK IT WAS A SUCCESS OR COULD IT HAVE BEEN RUN ANY BETTER,

There was a good turn-out -which is always a good start! A few hiccups with equipment-but that can happen to anyone-no matter how organised you try to be.
The weather was lovely so all in all a good weekend away if your sole interest is racing your dogs-like ours is.
Socialising/Club etc-(not really my scene)-a few problems/upset here to be addressed-so whats new?
One of the main highlights of the weekend for me apart from Coral and Waterford doing us proud-was on arriving at Asfordby at around midnight-2 badgers ran across the road in front of the van- a rare and beautiful sight for me anyway! I've only ever seen them dead before at the side of the road.
There is and always will be room for improvement anywhere.
I do strongly believe that in future- all-bodies should seriously re-consider where they hold their meetings at Asfordby-That large hall is dire-sound wise and very frustrating for all attending when no-one can hear properly. The field itself or the small bar area would have been 100% better.

I WENT ON THE SUNDAY MAINLY TO SEE THE SCRATCH RACERS, BUT ENJOYED THE REST OF THE RACING,SOME NEW CHAMPS WHICH IS ALWAYS GONNA BE GOOD FOR THE SPORT,MUST SAY IVE NEVER SEEN GAZ BAILEY WORK SO HARD ,THE BEER AINT CHANGED MUCH THO :x
