Hi all!

I'm Steve and I'm new here - I joined as I've now retired and will be taking me lovely dog on a motorhome trip around the UK. Does anyone have any tips for dog welcoming pubs etc? I came across a website called tailblazr but not sure how reliable they are? Has anyone used them before?

Hello and welcome.

@Tinytom and I both do this, sorry if I've missed anyone else.

I like Search for Sites

You see all sorts of stopping places; car parks, aires, campsites, pubs etc.

You do have to pay, but it's only about £6 per year. Other similar sites are available.

oh amazing! I haven't come across this in my prep. Does it also show pubs which welcome dogs near sites?

@SteveM it shows pubs where you can stay in your van if you buy a meal, it may be written in the description when they are dog friendly.

I also use the site that @arealhuman suggests, but I've noticed the app no longer seems to be available so I too suspect that it may not be up to date.

Thanks both this is really helpful! I also think it's not up to date so I'm going to give the tailblazr site a go - noticed they have an app too. I'll let you know how I get on with it

Good luck with Tailblazr. It looks like it could be good, in time, but having just checked a few areas I know, there's a number of dog friendly places missing.
