Congratuations to Ann Forsyth and Eamon Feeley Dunmurry, Belfast, on acquiring 2 new pedigree Whippet Bitch pups today. Ann tells me she is calling them Gypsy and Rose. I have seen a photograph of them, and they are really beautiful. Good luck Ann and Eamon with them.

I am also told congratulations is in order to Vincent Grimley, Armagh, who has also acquired 2 new pedigree Whippet Pups . I dont know their names as yet. Good Luck Vincy with them.

There will be some competition next summer with the ever growing popularity of the Whippet family here in Northern Ireland. It is overwhelmingly satisfying to see Whippets getting the recognition they deserve at last. They have been left on the tail end for too long. It would be nice to see Show organisers for next year , make the same championships and classes available for Whippets to qualify for, as are for Terrier & Lurchers. Lets say, call the open shows " Lurcher, Terrier, and Whippet Shows " or just plain " Dog Show " to cover all. Really looking forward to next years shows.
