Well done to all the winners, some good racing

sounds like a good day, wud have loved to have come but 4 hours there and 4 hours back is a bit too much (imo) well done t everyone who ran :D

I would like to thank all who attended this meeting and to all those who gave their time and helped in anyway they could, it was nice to see people enjoying our sport and helping others. Today this meeting raised £51-00p for the whippet rescue, money from the raffle and also the program money was put back in.

I would sincerely like to thank Paul Jennings for having the track laid out ready and allowing this meeting to go ahead, and also allowing the bar to be open for refreshments before and during the racing. Once again it was you the racers that made the meeting what it was, so enjoyable.

Fast off the mark there Milly :D

I've just come on to put these results up but dogs wanted a bath and a feed first.

Nice filthy whippet - sign of an afternoon well spent  .

Thankyou Blidworth wrc for a lovely day, We set out early to help Paul and ended up on the motorway in the fast lane facing the wrong way after a tyre blow (w00t)

But we got there for 12 and Saffie still got her run. It was hard getting back in the van to come home and I wouldnt let Ken go over 30mp all the way home lol. John sorry the raffles I bought are still in the van , I was so shook up after what happened I forgot about them

Thankyou Wendy and Tony for the hot pack it really helped

 yes we are ok Gaz just aching today. Thankyou to John , Paul and all the workers for a really nice open. And for letting me give Emma and Tanyia a run up which thay really enjoyed. Nice to see so much go towards whippet rescue. A very good start to the year. We saw some ice pups watching on the side lines. This year has started well and hopefully will be a very good one for racing.

Must just say the track as always at Asfordby was very good, thanks to Paul.

good to see moany moany back on track :luck:

Cheers DavidH - you'll be glad to know she'll also be putting an appearance in at Asker on Sunday...
