Hi after some advice please. I adopted a lovely little westiepoo just over a week ago and she has settled in very well. She is also in season at the moment. Yesterday she started passing very funny poo about 5 times yesterday.

I know this could be caused by any number of things like stress or different food but wondered what is the best way to look after her while she's like this

A bland diet is often the first course of action. Chicken and brown rice or fish and brown rice for about four or five days. Egg and rice is also ok.

You can also give her a probiotic. Natural yoghurt is readily available or Fortiflora, which I get from my vet but is probably available online. Four or five days again of this treatment.

Some dogs are allergic to things. You will only find out by trial and error. You don't say what you are feeding her, but some dog foods have lots of additives that can cause problems. Take a look at this website for advice on dog food - All About Dog Food. Sorry can't post a link. Make any changes very slowly by adding a small amount of the new food to the old food over several days until the switch is made.
