The people next door but one, have a lurcher who is left outside whenever they leave the house. They are at work for at least 7 hours a day and then sometimes in an evening.
The dog has no shelter and just paces up and down howling, crying and barking.
Obviously, I find this really upsetting, the poor dog must be freezing in this weather and I'm worried about him when it rains.
He's outside now, at 9pm and it's really cold, I can just see him wandering up and down.
I've decided that I'm going to go round and say something to them, I just don't know quite how to put it without coming across as a busy body. I just can't sit here slagging them off but doing nothing about it any longer.
Anyone had a similar experience and can offer some advice?
