IT IS HOPED ANYONE WITH KENNEL COUGH AMONGST THEIR DOGS WILL REFRAIN FROM ATTENDING THIS EVENT

as you must all be aware there is a countrywide outbreak of KENNEL COUGH so lets be sensible try and contain it as best we can

reading on the pedigree forum they are going down the route of cancelling club meetings as a precaution

Think anyone with sense should stop away from racing for at least 3/4 weeks if they have the cough to make sure its out of their system. trouble is people are wanting there dogs back racing after a couple of weeks. That's how its spread.

i never knew there was kennel cough going round till today. can i say its not just whippets who get it though as its airborne isnt it? any dog can get it. i understand 2 try and stop it spreading sensible people wud keep their whippets away from the tracks etc but u cant stop people with other dogs walking their dogs near tracks etc

lets hope theres not many whippets come down with it

 The trouble with having kennel cough is alot of racer's don't like to say that their dogs have had it because of the stigma.

Going down tomorrow for nosey.

Was this open held up Scotland last year? can't find the bloody trophy :sweating:

It was returned the year before, wasn't it.

Hi, sorry no she isn't. She's working instead now. Just as well really as I was hoping to make it home for the afternoon and give her a hand with the dogs but the car is up on it's axles awaiting new drive shafts, clutch and gearbox tomorrow morning so we can get home at anything quicker than 20mph :( .

I hope this open is going well, poor car's list of required "bits" is getting longer and will the drive shafts come out ? Will they fruck  .

Wish we were there :( . I love this open 8) . I love any open :) . Or club racing :D .

I do not like to be sat around doing nothing and hearing Robert swear at a bl*od* f**ki**g car  .

:b

OMG poor Meg, and poor Graham. Just as she looked to be coming back nicely and recovering well from the last fracture.

Do you know whether it was the same leg again or another one ?

Get Well Soon Meg :huggles:
