the NNWRF drug testing programme as discussed and agreed with the HFL does take into consideration that most of our whippets are pets and live in house as part of the family where they can and do have access to bits of chocolate especially if there are children in the house, or the remains of a cup of tea /coffee etc;

We therefor have agreement with the HFL that low traces of these substances will be acceptable, if a sample being tested is thought by the HFL to have an excessive amount of caffine or its related substances it would automatically go through the next stage of testing,and dealt with accordingly. Any sample tested and found to have traces of any other substance will automatically go through further testing by the HFL ANY POSITIVE sample will be dealt with according to what is found.

The test for EPO drug is a completely seperate test at additinal cost we do have it done and it is zero tollerance

It is the owners responsibility as to what is found to be in their dogs so please be AWARE of clearance times for any medication your dog may have had also be sure if you use a suppressant check with your vet it is one that is permitted
