Can't wait to get the family down on the field.

It's the same here, Sue!!

The dogs have been running around like lunatics  - they LOVE it :D :

all we have in poole is a slight dusting..kids are gutted :(

We've had it for over 3 weeks now, Ian had to dig the van out of the back lane this morning, getting fed up now so anyone without snow can have ours for free

Sonia

:x Look at that lot

Wish it was only snow that we had over here where i live. We've been the coldest part of Northern ireland again, this year.- 8 for tonight again.Weve been on - 12 a few nights, with -6/7,being an average. All the roads are covered with 3 inches of solid ice, that looks like glass.Thankfully we had an inch of snow, the other night.Which has left them walkable,at least. But so far as letting a dog off the lead.Thats a big no,no.This is the 23rd day,of the big freeze down here. With another 10 day's at least forecast. There is apparently.A freezing fog on its way for a few days.Which is going to be a nightmare.Heating lamps in all kennels, are costing a bloody fortune, and the water needs.Or rather the ice buckets.Need changed every 2 hours. My pups run,is sitting under 2 inches of solid ice.Which just cant be moved.Shits easy cleaned tho, lol.

Hi there

Words failed me yesterday ....because of the weather. Booked this week off work for revision as doing P/T Degree course. Exam yesterday 5th and friday 8th. However half-way through yesterday's exam we were told it was cancelled, as the weather conditions were getting worse. Don't know if or when it will be done again, or if what we had already done will be counted for anything. It then took me over 4 hours to drive home as roads were gridlocked and treacherous. Buses and cars sliding everywhere. University website have said exams now cancelled rest of week. Damn weather    Feel better now thats off my chest.

Diane

thank god you got that off your chest foggy :D what would you have done. :D

Billy that nice snow has an inch of ice under it as well this came mondaynight all day tusday all most a foot in one day and we have had -9 most nights from 5 in the evening I hate snow and the school I work at has been closed now for 2 days hope fully we will be open tomorrow. :)

Well even Worcestershire has a healthy coating now and we've had a snow day from college but still went in so G could make sure the boilers were OK after power was off - don't know about tomorrow yet ... sorry to those of you who've had enough now but I'm hoping for just enough more to give me some extra hols

Rowan and Willow love it (as long as Willow's coat is on cos she likes her comforts)

Be careful out there everyone xx

Sorry about my rant.... did make me feel better though. :lol Us Brits have to complain about the weather, heaven help us if we lived anywhere with big extremes!!!

Our puppy Elsie is loving it though, bouncing through it like a spring lamb, and its lovely to see and hear children playing out :)

Diane

Dont like the thot of this freezing fog coming now though.Schools have shut here too,and alannah is rippen. My 16 year old,was to start exams tomorrow,r summit too. She's not that bothered tho.Cuz ive just got a txt that i have to go pick her up,at the boyfriends house.20 bloody miles away.Hope the council got some flippin salt today. As they've been clean out of salt.Ah well.Looks like a few skid marks coming up,lol.

You can send that up here and I'll swap you for what we've got. Not been clear of the stuff since before christmas and we are sick of it. The novelty as even worn off for the boys.

I bet it has....its lethal out there on the pavements...most of the schools are shut expect the ones that my lot go too...i feel sorry for the parents who have to take time off work to look after the kids...

Bad here in the Scottish borders at the moment we have over 17inches and its sittin at -16 where we are. Can' even get the cars out so no chance of getting anywhere. I walked to worked yesterday 3 miles and then they shut the office so i walked back. Work closed again today, schools shut no buses running and the roads are lethal. The snow plough has been up the main road but there is no grit.

Dogs are having a fab time though!!!

we had our first lot of snow on tue thought we were not getting any the pup loves it

No Poole is not the only place to have hardly any snow. Here in Stoke we have had very little. Just an inch or so which quickly turned into lethal ice. Today the sky is white but all we've had so far is a few tiny little flakes.

How to get a cold bum. (w00t) (w00t)
