Hi everyone

we have just got back from North Notts Open, it is the first time we have been to this club and we were made to feel very welcome.

The track was nice and the car parking ample, and although there wasn't a great number of dogs there were some good races, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Jimmy and lorraine, and Mick and Vicky from Thurrock were there too

and we alll did very well.

Linda Windle made sure there were plenty of sandwiches and tea

even though she had to go and race elsewhere.

I think the format of this open should be tried out at every club at least

once in a racing season, it's well worth travelling if you know for sure that you are going to get 2 runs.

Well done to Tam jnr on the traps and Shelley with the judging, and the lure driver

we would certainly attend another open at this club if it was staged.

Thankyou Doreen for putting the results on for me as you well know i had to shoot of to go to work(no rest for the wicked lol) It was nice to see the people from the south. Well done everyone, we couldnt be there as the car is off the road, our pups have played up all day lol.

It was our first time at North Notts to, it was a really enjoyable day, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly people. Not many dogs but some good racing we would go back again.
