Anyone going tomorrow? It would be nice to have a mini K9 get together. The food is very reasonable, free glass of champers, piece of cake and free tea and coffee all day!!!! Worth going even if you don't have a dog.

I will be taking Sky, but I don't know if she will be showing yet. The vet has said to play it by ear (What that has to do with showing whippets I dont know!!) So we will see how her toe is then. Riva and Fern will be in the ring though, thats if Riva doesn't show me up so much in MPD that I go home with my head held down in shame.

I wont be able to make it tomorrow. Diamond is a little 'out of sorts' so im not gonna bother with trekking over.

Good Luck to all those going, especially Becka with her new pups. :luck:

Ben's got Blaze in mpd so that will be another to be shown up Rosie in mpb Maggie in pb and mum Tegan in something but I can't remember what  Her first show since she came out of junior 18 months ago. Should be fun Maggie's never been a show before

I'll be the one with 4 whippets being stupid trying to kill each other and a nagging child Ben don't know if OH is going to put in an appearance yet

I think Beaker's got little Owen in mpd as well

:luck: :luck: :luck: Good luck everyone :luck: :luck:

MP classes are going to be fun!! I've got Riva in MPD and Sky in MPB - if she is OK. Her broken toe is healing quite well and my vet says it's just a case of giving her a try. If she is OK in the morning I will give her a try, but if I think she is having any problens I will pull her out. It will be fun with her whatever - she spent 2 weeks on complete rest and another 2 on light lead exercise, no ringcraft or training at home - she will show me up something rotten!!!!! Fern is in JB, so a hectic day for all of us! See you tomorrow.

Just realised that I repeated myself in the last reply - ignore me - it's my age!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well jan is in season so good job i didnt book her in (w00t) i knew she was due around this time so she staying at home grumping at everythig :- "

Hopefully she will be OK for Driffield then - always look on the bright side so they say!!!! (That's pressuming you are going to Driffield of course!)

all three boys are bathed, nail trimmed, teeth cleaned, brushed, buffed and well practiced and they will still somehow find a way to make me look a muppet :clown:

we have been lure coursing today so Otis who did a sliding skid to the finish has a lovely pink scuff on his chest, looks well on a white dog.

Oto was attacked by a grumpy sibe husky yesterday  so is feeling a little dented today and is being a bit twitchy about other dogs, hopefuly the sight of lots of friendly whippets (especially the girlies) will help bring him round :D

and Owen well he is just Owen

btw i'm fetching jam donuts :- "

Anyone know what the entry is like?

Have a great day everyone  :luck: :luck: :luck:

where is this venue ????

if it's near enough we might come.

Julie

Julie it's in Preston - close enough actually that you should be able to get there no problem.

We thought about going and making a family weekend of it, but every other weekend this month was booked so we decided to stay home. After all that it turned out Nick had to work this weekend anyway so we couldnt' have gone :(

 congratulations to all the winners.

it's the 1st show we've ever been to and I was impressed by all the well behaved whippets I saw o:)

:D the tea ladies were lovely and the lady on the coat stall was so friendly and helpful, we were continuing on to visit friends so OH had Ella on lead in the car park and, considering she hates other dogs sniffing her underneath, I'm certain she knew those today were all of her breed , she didn't mind any sniffing at her and was lying on her back for some :- "

was only sorry we couldn't stay longer to introduce ourselves to other K9ers

at only 18 weeks it seems impossible that we could ever be in a position to show ours being well behaved like those we saw today, must have been a lot of practice put in 8)

WELL DONE
