Come on then lets have your ideas-

In the last 2 weeks a Robin has flown into our kitchen and today flew into our porch....

Is it an omen?

What does it mean?

I'm getting paranoid.

my aunty use to say if a robin visits you its a friend or relative coming to visit you to say hello who has past over

I've just looked it up in my book of omens (every home should have one :- " ) & it also says the robin is an omen of death if it flies in through an open window.

Whatever you do, don't kill it as if you do, any cows that you happen to own will yield blood coloured milk (w00t)

:luck: :luck: just thought you may need some good luck to balance out the robin :luck: :luck:

It came through an open door on both occasions...... (w00t)

(not a window)

Does that rule out death then? :sweating: :sweating:

only for the robin if whitey gets a hold of it.

To add to this -the plot thickens eh?

A few days ago I was watching 3 Robins-scurrying around on the field across from where we live.......

I thought this an unusual sight-'seeing 3 together' as i know they are quite territorial creatures-

Is this significant?

We didn't kill the robin in the porch today... (w00t) but it did look stressed on its departure-didn't like having its picture taken lol-

Who killed Cock Robin poem

"Who killed Cock Robin?" "I," said the Sparrow,

"With my bow and arrow, I killed Cock Robin."

"Who saw him die?" "I," said the Fly,

"With my little eye, I saw him die."

"Who caught his blood?" "I," said the Fish,

"With my little dish, I caught his blood."

"Who'll make the shroud?" "I," said the Beetle,

"With my thread and needle, I'll make the shroud."

"Who'll dig his grave?" "I," said the Owl,

"With my pick and shovel, I'll dig his grave."

"Who'll be the parson?" "I," said the Rook,

"With my little book, I'll be the parson."

"Who'll be the clerk?" "I," said the Lark,

"If it's not in the dark, I'll be the clerk."

"Who'll carry the link?" "I," said the Linnet,

"I'll fetch it in a minute, I'll carry the link."

"Who'll be chief mourner?" "I," said the Dove,

"I mourn for my love, I'll be chief mourner."

"Who'll carry the coffin?" "I," said the Kite,

"If it's not through the night, I'll carry the coffin."

"Who'll bear the pall? "We," said the Wren,

"Both the cock and the hen, we'll bear the pall."

"Who'll sing a psalm?" "I," said the Thrush,

"As she sat on a bush, I'll sing a psalm."

"Who'll toll the bell?" "I," said the bull,

"Because I can pull, I'll toll the bell."

All the birds of the air fell a-sighing and a-sobbing,

When they heard the bell toll for poor Cock Robin. :(

Very reasurring

I'm going to look on the optimistic side.....

Its Chinese New Year-yeh? and their lucky colour is red....

Trouble is someone pranged our van today whilst it was in a car park and then buggered off...

There's a lovely red paint stained 'dent' on the wing now.....

Its hard trying to be optimistic sometimes eh? Lol
