Just wondering, cause im not too sure on this one, do pups have to be over 6months to be entered NFC? Im sure i'd read somewhere that they do - or does it just depend on the club?

many thanks in advance

yes i think any dog entered nfc has to be over 6 months as no dog under that age can be allowed into the grounds of a show

Breed clubs and group champ shows can allow pups of 4 months NFC but it is up to each club. Ask the one you want to enter for if you are able.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that a Breed Club may accept puppies over 4 months old as NFC - but I could be wrong.

Ruby went to a couple of breed club shows NFC between the ages of 4 - 6 months last year. I think it helps a lot to get to know the sites and sounds of show day before they get out there for real!

sorry guys.rules have changed since i showed :b i didnt know they allowed this

I remember that Ruby and Berry were both spectators at EAWC Open last year and were both completely unfazed by it all.

Definitely good practice for them if you can get along to any that will allow Lily to go as NFC. Looking forward to seeing her! :huggles:

They changed about 3 1/2 years ago. Teya was at one of the first shows where it was allowed. One of the Whippet Club shows. I think it was fantastic because as someone else said it gets them used to the atmosphere before having to experience it with showing as well.
