I've got a pup and I'd like to see about racing him when he's a bit older.

Is there anywhere I can get info on this (I haven't done it before).

And are there any races/meets in the Nottingham area or surrounding?

Cheers

He's just 5 months at the minute and is pure whippet as far as I know but don't know about his breeding etc, not KC reg. I'm in Sherwood. Any info online about any of these meets?

:ermm: If you click on the Non - Ped site you will find a link to the sites for each individual clubs! Old Hall is one of the few clubs that are able to run all year, with the odd exception, due to severe weather conditions. We race on Sundays and both before racing and at half time there is trialling for pups and dogs coming back from injury etc., You would be made very welcome at any of the clubs in our region and there are plenty of people who are only too willing to help you get your pup racing. My advice to you would be to go to one of the clubs on their race day and see what suits you best. I hope this is of help and I wish you well with your little one!

Shirebrook run every sat, old hall run every sunday all the clubs will make you welcome and help with training your pup, think your pup is to young to run at mow but always good to get them to a track now and get them use to everything. poolsbrook run on weds night from march i'm from nott's it take's me about 25 mins to get to poolsbrook, about the same to shirebrook and not much longer to old hall, good luck with your pup

Thanks for the info guys :)
