It was cold and damp again but a good time was had by all. A big welcome to Mark and Lesley, such a long time since they were last with us. They were keen to race and trial their new pups by Evansent out of their own Summa Breeze. Also welcome back to Jo.

Today we ran for the most impressive cups of the year, and especially the supreme winner taking the Taimo Tankard, the oldest of Gloucester's trophies.

The Lightweights ran for the Aerocraft trophy:

Heats: Conway Tear, Xplicit, Dearly Devoted.

Semis: W/H Mighty Mouse, Uptown Girl.

Final: 1st CONWAY TEAR running out of her skin today, 2nd Uptown Girl, 3rd Xplicit, 4th W/H Mighty Mouse.

Heavyweights running for the Carlstream Challenge Cup

Heats: Cheap Thrills, Spennells Valley.

Final: 1st SPENNELLS VALLEY yet another win for this most consistent bitch, 2nd Cheap Thrills, 3rd Wheal Kitty, 4th W/H Mighty Smidge.

Taimo Tankard supreme run-off was won by SPENNELLS VALLEY Well done!

The AGM will be at the Greyhound pub, Longlevens, for lunch at 1.00. the meeting will follow the meal. There will be NO race meeting prior to the lunch. See you all at the pub!! (GL2 0XH)

It was another brilliant day at Gloucester today. The ground was soft but not too muddy. Congratulations to Spennells Valley who has been in super form of late, shame its so long until the next Nationals, but I'm sure we will see her just as fit next season. Congratulations also to Lynne and Dave on Tia's main final win, she was flying today beating brother Axl for the first time - she certainly seems to like the track in it's new position :thumbsup:

Belle was a little star today too, the only one of the Peppermint/Whiphaven pups to clear for racing up to now, and she has the heart of a lion - she's cute with it too.

Thanks to Lou for lending Daisy and Dexter for Barney to run with. The trials were excellent, and we are pleased with his progress.

We are looking forward to the AGM next week, and then a couple of months rest before the next season starts. Time to do all those jobs we have been putting off all year! See you all next week :thumbsup:

A very enjoyable day at Gloucester yesterday, and a lovely end to the season for us with Macy's two wins, - I have a lot of extra polishing to do over the Winter now!

Many congratulations also to Dave and Lynne with Conway Tear on great form, winning her first ever trophy in the L/W Final, - I'm sure there will be many more to come. :thumbsup:

Looking forward to seeing all the youngsters, who are trialling so well at the moment , making their mark next year.
