One of our English Spingers 15 + deaf, gets very restless has involuntary movements and jumps and when walking steps are very irregular occasional circling and whines in the mornings We obviously love her dearly and has had bad ears for which we bath and clean regularly any ideas

Thankyou, diet in dogs has to be right for your dog i know, but will any one thing help regarding stress type symptoms to take the edge off what is probably a neurological problem .... Don't want to put her through unnecessary vetinary procedures !

I highly recommend you talk to your vet about the situation. Get his/her opinion, he/she knows your dog. Guessing what might cause the symptoms is... well guessing. Your vet can give you a qualified opinion. Gathering more knowledge and the available treatment options may also help you feel more comfortable.

Good advice, thanks for taking the time. Just liked your facebook page seems you give a great service to the canìne world

Good article elmo, there's a few things in there I've always used to date, I like the baby food one lol

As elmo said pop him to the vet, he could have a trapped nerve, or sudden pain causing his problem.

Could just be like us oldies, just getting old and got aches and pains.

At least it will put your mind at ease, and your dog might receive treatment if he needs it.

Whether he needs treatment or is given the clear, it will stop you worrying about your pet.

Your dog will pick up on your unhappiness, making both of you miserable, so the quicker it's done the better for the both of you.
