Went to the Pedigree dog show to day in Newtownards which we enterd some time ago. The weather was just beautiful and the location at Ards Rugby Club was superb. There were dogs of all breeds there, and all classes catered for. We expected to see nobody we knew there, but we were only there a matter of minutes when Sammy and Linda Bowers and their son Jonathan arrived with their beautiful Whippet Lady. Then Carmel and Annesley Renshaw arrived with their bedlington terrier Barney, and bedlington pup Ruby in toe also. We were all a very luck bunch on the day. Every single one of us won something and the banter was good.

We got 1st with our Whippet pup Goldie, in the puppy class. Sammy and Linda got 2nd with their Whippet Lady in the graduate class, and Carmel and Annesley got 1st with their bedlington in her class. It was great we were all winners and a great day out was had by all. We finished the day of with a cup of tea in Jim and Lynn Murrays house in Newtown Ards. Many thanks Jim and Lynn for the lovely cuppa and the craic.

Also congratulations to Pamela and Ryan Hunter on their great win to day with their beautiful Whippet. Well done Pamela and Ryan.

Thanks for all your good wishes, our whippet pup Goldie has done us proud. I think she is trying to out do her sister whippet Silver. She will have some catching up to do.
