come on then , lets know if you agree or not, then the bwra, may follow the new fed.. or even allow a couple off reps to watch the draw..

This may be a thick question but thats all it is a question, but why does everyone keep mentioning the BWRA and the draws. Seem's its only come up the last few weeks while the bends are on. just looked at the calander for the end of last year and the beginning of this year and apart from 2 regioal bend opens, that have nothing to do with the top table, the only big BWRA open was two weeks ago at the Tyrone. I carn't see how people can put a commitee down when they havn't even had anything to do with all but 1 draw since September.

no body is putting the bwra comitte down sharon.. :)

you may find its up to the top table to decide -_- or someone may offer to help them ey :) think its a big ask for champs day at such short notice lets let the committee do there jobs and get sunday over with then members could aproach the bwra with the sugestion for future events jesus its getting BOARING -_- -_- :- "

I'm sure it can't hurt for members to make their opinions known to other members, in order for us all to discuss them and make relevant comment.

Maybe we can then decide between us if an idea is workable or not by putting across our point of view and listening to that of others. Then if it was a good idea that many members are in support of it could be put to the Committee(s) when proposal time came round. It would certainly mean that proposals would be a representation of the membership that were well thought out, and had in the main been discussed beforehand.

It would certainly save time at AGM's/Meetings etc. and hopefully stop a certain amount of the petty arguing that takes place at meetings. Meetings would hopefully then turn away from being an event of "he who shouts loudest" or "I've been racing longest" getting their point heard to a discussion. Or at the very least I can be accused of wishful thinking.

Although I dont have much to do with BWRA or FED draws I do get involved with Scottish Derby draw, last years draw was done in the canopy where everyone weighed in it was attended by myself Sandra Arthur George Geordie and Jeneane it was done in the open with racers coming back and forth as they seen fit. However the consolation draw was done in my caravan that same night by myself Valerie Sandra and Jenaene, it took us to 11.30 at night to get all the seeding weight groups etc correct or so we thought only to find out the next day we had still made a few mistakes.I think that we decided to do the draw this way so that racers could enjoy their night and we the organisers could get on with the organising.
